Are you passionate about computing and technology? Are you a skilled writer and communicator who can quickly master technical concepts and ideas and then share that expertise with others?
If so, we want to hear from you.
As a Graduate Technologist, you will create technical content for some of the world’s biggest technology companies. This content can include training materials for instructor-led training or self-paced learning, hands-on labs and programming exercises, web-based reference materials, best practice guidance, instructional videos, architecture and process diagrams, technical marketing and sales collateral, and much more.
You will work closely with clients and other stakeholders to gather information, establish requirements, and steer projects to a successful conclusion. In return, you will receive on-the-job training and mentoring. You will also be encouraged to study for and pursue industry accreditations and certifications.
To qualify for this position, you must have (or expect to attain) a good degree in a computing-related discipline, together with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to explain technical concepts using examples, analogies, illustrations, summarisation and simplification as appropriate. You will also have the interpersonal skills to work closely with clients and with colleagues in various areas of the business, including project management and sales and marketing.
An understanding of coding fundamentals is essential, and some familiarity with Microsoft cloud and enterprise technologies will be beneficial. Any participation in the technology community, such as blogging or participation in community groups, will be viewed favourably.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package. This includes a competitive salary, profit-related bonus, private health insurance, share options and opportunities for career progression.
The role will initially be based at our head office, just north of Bristol. Due to our rural location, you must have a full driving licence and your own transport.
As you progress in the company you may be offered the opportunity to telecommute some of the time. Some national and international travel may be required.
