Following consultation with CM Group, a custom iPad App was recommended as the best solution to meet the bank’s mLearning needs.

Using our Luminosity Studio eLearning authoring tool, the App was developed specifically for the iPad by our software development team. It was crucial to ensure that the user interface was smooth and attractive, and designed to fully integrate with the bank’s corporate branding.

All content was hosted on our Cloud based Learning Management System (LMS), Luminosity Reach, which allows for new and updated content to be pushed out to users quickly and easily from a centrally managed point. This means the bank can keep the content and therefore their customers up to date.

The biggest issue with Flash-based courses is that they cannot run on many mobile devices including Apple iPads and iPhones as these platforms do not readily support Flash. HTML5 on the other hand has wide support across a full range of mobile browsers and requires no additional plug-ins. This makes it an obvious choice to future proof your investment in eLearning and one that has the potential to transform your mLearning strategy.
